Brooke Morton is a freelance writer and editor specializing in travel. She's written about a wide range of subjects, from diving with bull sharks in Mexico to racing blokarts on Bonaire. Assignments have taken her throughout the Caribbean, as well
as to Mexico and Thailand.
As an undergraduate attending Barnard College, she studied
in Buenos Aires, Argentina, for a semester. After graduating
with a degree in English, she moved to St. Croix in the
U.S. Virgin Islands to teach scuba diving for a spell
before returning to New York City to pursue another passion:
writing.
Formerly the associate editor of Sport
Diver magazine, she's also written for Islands, Caribbean
Travel & Life, Sky and Florida Travel + Life magazines. Online, Brooke currently blogs for Uptake.com, and formerly wrote a column for Babble.com, part of Nerve Media.
When not in front of her Macbook Pro, she is happy to be kayaking, riding her bike, tossing a Frisbee, walking her boxer or playing Scrabble. |
